Murat Ucer is an independent economist, serving as the local Turkish advisor to the Global Source Partners; co-founder of Turkey Data Monitor, a firm that provides macroeconomic database and training services on the Turkish economy, and adjunct professor at Koc University. Previously, he worked at the Institute of International Finance, Credit Suisse, and International Monetary Fund. He also took senior advisory positions in Turkey. He received his B.A. in economics from Bogazici University, and his Ph.D. from Boston College. He is co-author of a monograph on the 2001 Turkish financial crisis, and has written and published several policy-oriented papers on the Turkish economy.
Atilla Yesilada is an independent analyst, serving as the local Turkish political advisor to the Global Source Partners, and is the host of several financial news programs on Turkish TV and a partner in Bilge Ekonomist. Previously, he was research director for, among others, Global and Eczacibasi Securities, when he was named to Institutional Investor’s “All-Europe Research Team.” Atilla received his B.A. in business administration from Eastern Illinois University. He also holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and Rensselear Polytechnic University, respectively.
Daryo Mizrahi, anthropologist-cum-software designer, is co-founder of Turkey Data Monitor, and part time faculty at Bogazici University’s Socialogy Department. He teaches courses on media, communications, cultural theory and semiotics, and designs and develops software projects in educational and academic areas. Daryo has a Ph.D in anthropology from Cpolumbia University, and a B.A. in histpory from Bogazici Univeristy.
Ozlem Derici has been with Istanbul Analytics/Tukey Data Monitor team since 2003 first serving as the Chief Economist of the group, more recently, working as a senior trainer and project manager for Turkey Data Monitor. She has an M.A. in Finance and a B.A. in Economics from Bilgi University.
Derya Karakaya has been with the İstanbul Analytics/Turkey Data Monitor team since 2006, is a key contributor to data management, and also assists in research and macroeconomic analysis. She holds a BA degree in economics from Galatasaray University, in Istanbul.
