How will the Turkish-US visa crisis end?

White House officials expressed hope that the visa crisis with Turkey will be resolved soon, but this not   what the omnes say. First, I link an article by pro-AKP columnist Mr Burhanettin Duran, who says: “Washington has no way to come to a mutual understanding with Ankara without changing its current policies that pose a threat to Turkey’s national security”.  Tough order, I’d say.

Additionally, the visa crisis is just the tip of the iceberg, with President Erdogan blasting Pentagon for  aiding PYD-YPG terrorists in  the conquest of Raqqa. He seems ready to abandon the “strategic relationship”.  And, don’t let me start about  the upcoming Reza Zarrab hearings. Dream Boat Annie.
