After visa crisis comes Reza Zarrab scandal

There  is hope, and believe me, no more than that, that the mutual visa ban between USA and Turkey will be lifted soon. With neither side budging from its position,  I don’t see how, but let’s give  optimists the benefit of doubt.  Even if the visa wounds are healed, a bigger storm is on the horizon:  The trial of gold trader and alleged Iran sanctions violator Mr Reza Zarrab, which has already dragged in a top executive of  state-owned lender  Halkbank and a former Economy Minister.  An in depth  article in Washington Post claims Erdogan is afraid   his name, too, will be added to the indictment.  The article posted here by VoA, confirms this view.
