Amidst the paucity of national polls, we report what we can

According to a survey Rawest, a polling firm that focuses on Turkey’s east and southeast, conducted before the announcement of party nominees, the pro-Kurdish People’s Democratic Party’s (HDP) share of the regional vote will be similar to that of this year’s June elections for president and parliament.

This would mean a decrease from the previous general election, in June 2015, but an increase from the previous local elections, in March 2014. The ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) is expected to maintain the results it received in the local elections of 2009 and 2014.
