Turkish authorities launched yet another nationwide today, as reported by Anatolian Agency, which by my account spread to four cities by evening hours.   In the morning hours, police and spy agency officials netted an unnamed U.S. Consular employee of Turkish origin on charges of “Gulenism”, officially a criminal offense in the country. U.S. State Department protested strongly, suggesting that after Germany, America, too, might be annoyed with Ankara’s habit of detaining people under flimsy evidence.
