Turkey slides to 107th place among 162 countries in freedoms

Turkey received a personal freedom score of 6.09, according to scale from 10 to zero points where 10 indicates the highest level of freedom and zero shows the absence of freedom. The index showed the country’s economic freedom score as 6.84 and human freedom rating as 6.47 in the 2018 index.

The 2018 freedom rankings of Turkey, ranked 96th in the same index for 2016 and 60th in the 2011, were tied with Argentina and similar to countries such as Tunisia, Zambia, India and Malaysia.
